I don’t normally share a lot of personal stuff here on this blog, but she needs lots of prayers and support right now. She’s been suffering from colitis for the past year or so, and the last few months have been extremely challenging. She’s been in the hospital for three weeks as the doctors have tried different treatments and medications, but unfortunately these efforts have met with little success. So today she will be having surgery. Needless to say, we are all terribly worried, and have been praying non-stop.

Please say some prayers for her, and keep her and her husband Anthony in your thoughts today. Specifically that the surgery goes well and that recovery goes smoothly so she can feel better and go home soon. And any encouraging messages that you might want to leave here I am sure will be greatly appreciated by Katy. Thank you!

Seeing as this little girl will be turning two in just a few weeks, I decided it was time to share these images from her one year portrait session. She is full of spunk (just like her mama!) and I was cracking up at all the different facial expressions, that I had to share a series of them. She is just too funny and so cute! And Susan, her mom, had the very best old fashioned pram that we plopped Ali in for a few shots.I am seriously coveting that pram, is it not fabulous? And….those baby rolls. How can you not smile seeing those? :)
