When I found out that Jackie had asked for (and gotten!) pictures from me for her birthday….A big milestone kind of birthday… I was so happy to hear that, and definitely a little nervous. I mean, that’s a pretty big deal! Big birthdays usually are the perfect excuse to ask for a super special gift. And the fact that she chose me to help deliver that, is pretty cool I think. Not to mention her husband and boys who gave that to her AND were totally game for coming along! 
She was looking for some ‘summer-kissed’ pictures, so I was crossing all my fingers and toes for some nice sunshine! We planned their session for late afternoon/early evening which is my very favorite time to shoot on a sunny day. The light is soft, beautiful and golden, and makes for amazing pictures. Fortunately, we were blessed with the perfect weather. Add in a cute family with three fun boys and one of my favorite shooting locations (the Westminster Abbey in Mission of course!) and we were set.
