I just wanted to let my readers know that if you are interested in booking a session for this fall (especially if you are wanting Christmas cards and gifts for Christmas), please contact me as soon as possible. The best time for family pictures weather-wise is usually late summer/early fall…before the rain starts and makes the leaves all brown and mushy! The session fee for family sessions is $150 and includes up to four people and driving within the Abbotsford area (additional people and driving available for a small fee.). Prints start at $25 for a 5×7, and I also offer custom press-printed cards, storyboards, wall galleries and albums. My schedule is filling up quite quickly, so pop me an email or use the contact form here on my site so you can book your session.

For all the pregnant mamas out there, I always try fit newborns into my schedule. Don’t forget that the best time to book your session is before the baby is born. I will pencil in your due date and when baby makes his/her arrival, we confirm a date and time for your session. Email me for maternity and newborn package information and details.

Also, I will be out of the office from Wednesday July 22th – Monday July 27th as we are traveling to Ontario to photograph Jeremy & Julie’s wedding. I will have some access to email while I am gone, and will respond to all non-urgent emails upon my return. Have a great week!

Just over two years ago I photographed Mattias’ big brother Noah, and it was a joy to meet and photograph Noah’s adorable little brother. Noah also happens to be in my Portfolio galleries as the baby with the beautiful red painting as a backdrop. One of my favorite things about photographing siblings is seeing the similarities and differences between them, and these brothers definitely have lots of similarities I think (especially the cute little cowlicks ).

Karin is a close friend of mine that I’ve known since Grade Four, and we share a common love for photography and so much more. She is a fabulous photographer herself (some of my clients may remember her when she was a second shooter for a few of my weddings) and it’s always an honor to photograph another photographer. Her husband Art was super patient while we chatted about babies and photography and everything in between…and meanwhile I was able to catch some great shots of their beautiful little boy.

So I decided to try out a different way to share pictures for this sneak peek for Carmen & John. I was mostly motivated by the fact that I had soooo many favorites that I couldn’t narrow down which ones to share of this gorgeous family, and this allowed me to share many more images. Let me know what you think of this new format!

You may recognize this family from previous sessions I’ve posted here, as well as some of the images in my banner and portfolio galleries. That cute little baby with the blue hat? That would be the not-so-little but still adorably cute little guy here…he is now 15-months, and like all toddlers this age, he sure kept us on our toes (he’s the perfect way to give me practice for my little guy, who is only 6 months younger)! They grow up crazy fast, don’t they? Fortunately big brother and sister know the drill…they are pros! Between all of our sessions, and having a momma who is a photographer, they knew exactly what to do. We had a lot of fun with this session at a fabulous location in Burnaby, with a mini-train track, a skate-park and some nice green grass. The kids loved it, and it was definitely a photographer’s paradise.
