This family happens to be great friends of ours, and I was so sad to hear that they were going to be moving to Calgary! Leanne asked if I could get some pictures of Silas and Olivia before they left, and of course we had to include her in some too. Cory, the husband and dad, had already gone to Calgary at this point for his new job, so unfortunately he wasn’t able to join us. But considering that Silas looks so much like it, it was almost like he was there, just a mini version!

Some of you might remember Olivia from a post on my personal blog a few years ago. This little girl has come such a long way since she was born…it’s so neat to see her talking and laughing and being so darn cute!

Anyways, here’s a mini sneak peek of a few of my favorites from their session:

Olivia wasn’t too interested in pics, but we did manage to get this shot, and I love it! Her two little teeth popping out are so darn cute! And her curls…so so adorable.

And then comes Silas…this boy is a bundle of fun and energy! I think he might have been telling me about the big fish dad caught. haha

The puddles were a ton of fun!

Remember Carmen’s Maternity Session? Well here’s her brand new baby boy Keiran, who was making her adorable little bump. Carmen was wanting pictures primarily of herself and Keiran…being a photographer herself she’s been busy snapping hundreds (or most likely thousands!) of photos of her little man, but of course it’s always hard to get pics of yourself in front of the camera when you’re the photographer. So glad I was able to capture some of these special moments for her.

Carmen has been waiting super patiently for these pics, as being pregnant recently herself, she knows all about yucky morning sickness and pregnancy exhaustion. Thank you so much for being patient Carmen…enjoy your mini sneak peek!

I love capturing this snuggly newborn stage…there truly is nothing better than a baby sleeping on your chest.

I’m sure a few of you have been wondering why my blog is so quiet…it’s not been for lack of photoshoots, but rather due to a new member who will be joining our family this fall. Yes, I’m pregnant with # Last (as I like to call him or her), otherwise known as Baby #3, who is due to arrive sometime in October of this year. In usual form, pregnancy has left it’s rather unpleasant mark, and I’ve been feeling under the weather and super super tired.

A big thank you to all of my clients who have been so patient during this time. I’m now 13 weeks and hoping to be feeling better soon and to have some more energy so I can get caught up again. I have a few mini sneak peeks that will be posted in the next few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled.

This is a very quick sneak peek for Melissa (aka Bud) and her new hubby Jim. I promised them I’d try post a few from their wedding before I headed out of town for a few days. This was such a fun wedding, with the bridal party all driving huge tractors! Lots more pictures to come in a few weeks, but for now, here’s a few faves:
