I met Jen several years back through scrapbooking at the very first ‘crop’ I attended, which was probably five years ago (has it really been that long??) and I remember being in awe of her scrapbook pages, and the amazing details she included (especially the sewing on her pages!). We kind of lost touch over the years, and then Jen and I recently met again through Facebook, and I was thrilled to hear that she had met a wonderful man and had gotten engaged.
I was thrilled when Jen asked me to do an engagement/family session. It was a pleasure to spend an afternoon together, and seeing this new family of four being together just made me so very happy. Nothing quite like witnessing the happy end to a story, right? A big congrats to all four of you on this exciting new phase in your life!
One of my favorite parts about this session is that they are all avid photographers and all four of them have their own cameras. And the fact that they are die-hard Canon owners like me was icing on the cake. I tell you, their camera bag almost rivaled my own!
Jen and her handsome dudes (Mikah was still warming up to me after a nap in the car…I love how he’s peeking at my somewhat suspiciously here!)

Feisal is a pro with his camera! He was using all sorts of different angles, and loved posing everyone. A boy after my own heart ![]()

Andrew brought his camera along too, and we had fun incorporating the paparazzi into the session
ha. Just kidding!

Jen has the BEST smile/laugh. I was able to capture a few shots with it, and they are some of my faves from the session. I can’t help but smile just looking at this!

Feisal knew exactly what he wanted from this shot (told ya he was a pro!)

Andrew knows all the tricks to get Jen grinning from ear to ear…he’s definitely a keeper! ![]()

One of my faves….love the texture from the concrete.

Mikah showing off a little bling.

And who can resist adorable alligator (or is it dinosaur?) boots on the wrong feet? So darn cute!
