Rachel Ludwig Photography | Abbotsford Family and Child Portrait Photographer bio picture

Welcome to Rachel Ludwig Photography!

Come on in, grab a cup of coffee (or in my case, that would be a non-fat, sugar-free vanilla, earl grey tea misto) and take a browse through my site. This is where I share images from recent sessions, post updates about Rachel Ludwig Photography, and sometimes I even sneak in a few pictures of my own family.

Want to know a little bit more about me? I've been married to my husband Tim for 11 years, and we have three loud, crazy and fun kids: Ethan (7), Arden (3) and Hudson (1). I also love to take pictures. I'm a lifestyle portrait and wedding photographer based in Abbotsford, BC and I photograph a little bit of everything, including babies, bellies, families, engagements, boudoir and weddings.

Oh....and don't be shy! You can leave a comment, pop me an email or use the contact form at any time. I promise I don't bite. :) I'd love to hear from you!

Ryan & Evan

My very first twins! These darling little boys were born 5 weeks early, and after less than 3 weeks in the hospital, were able to go home. They’re so so very tiny! When these pictures were taken, they were both under six pounds, almost a pound up from their birth weights. If I remember correctly that is. I know one of the boys is bigger than the other, but as I told their mom and dad, I knew I was going to forget who’s who!

Just wanted to give a quick sneak peek so I thought I’d share my favorite image so far. I know Danielle and Matt are looking forward to seeing these. More images coming soon.

Aren’t they positively adorable?? I tell you, they gave me some serious baby fever. :)

Heather M. - OOOOOH!!! They are so CUTE! Love that photo!

Ellen - Rachel, I discovered you as a Garden Girl/HOFer and have loved watching you grow as a photographer. You have such a unique style. Just can't get enough of your work! Ellen

Jason Brown - Adorable! They're great little posers aren't they...

susan - love it! a neat idea considering how they were 'inside'...

Nancy L - Rachel I have to say your photography has improved by leaps and bounds from the first time I saw your work. Loving it!!!! All I have to say is that after my one photography session with a model for only a few minutes while others waited their turn was very difficult for me to do. I definitely cannot draw the realness in people. I hope one day I can actually take people shots without it looking contrived. Oh well, doesn't matter anymore since I've completely forgotten everything I learned. I know from that foundation photography course how some people just have a natural knack for it and you definitely have the eye and the touch.
