Don’t be shy…

C’mon in and say hi! I see lots of hits coming through this blog, and curiosity is getting the better of me. I’d love to hear from you…and I have to admit I’m dying to know who’s from Kalamazoo, Michigan. I get a little kick out of it everytime I see that location pop up in my stats. :)

So, you can either leave a comment here, or there’s a little poll on the right hand side of the blog that’s just point and click and you can add your name/location there if you’d like.

Thanks, I’m looking forward to hearing from you all.

hi - I think I originally found you at 2peas and we’ve e-mailed a couple times over the last few years (Nat’l Scrapbook Day LO for 2peas last year). Anyways, LOVE your photography. I keep telling my husband that we need to take a trip to Whistler and swing by Vancouver on our way up so you can take our pictures! We ARE celebrating our 10 year anniversary next year which would be a great excuse. ;) Thanks for sharing all your photo shoots!

Hi Rachel, I’ve been a lurker on your blog(s) now for a long time, but have never actually said “hi”…. so, “Hi!” Although we’ve never met IRL, we did attend the same high school, kinda funny - I was in your Bil Jeremy’s class. I actually saw a Valentines project of yours in Creating Keepsakes one time, and loved it, and saw “Rachel Ludwig, Abbotsford BC” printed beside it - I was like, that sounds familiar? And I live really close to Abbotsford. Ever since I found your blog I’ve been hooked, your style is awesome, you are such a major inspiration. I just bought my first DSLR, and am totally falling in love with photography. Keep up the amazing work. Are you still scrapbooking?

I know this post isn’t meant for the likes of me (as we are practically neighbours and BFF) but I wanted to echo the sentiments already mentioned here: you are such an inspiration - personally and professionally. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for you this year!

Hi, there. I’m from central Illinois. Witt, to be exact. I went to a hockey game in Kalamazoo about 12 years ago. My first over-night trip with my now husband!

My boss and I really enjoyed your photo galleries - you are a wonderful photographer (and scrapper, too).

    Busssted!

Hey Rachel - I’m the one responsible for the Hong Kong stats (and possibly the New Zealand stats if there are any!).

We’re of course Flickr friends, but since you upload more shots here than you do at Flickr, I pop in here from time to time to see what’s new - and to learn from your work (hope you don’t mind!)

You also have the “honour” (!) of being one of five Flickr-ites listed on my “Photographers whose work you HAVE to see because it’s so darn good” list at my Flickr profile :-)
I agree with Jo up there ^^^ - your photos are so simple and beautiful. No weird and pointless props (apart from the occasional shopping cart!) - just beautiful photos of fun subjects in gorgeous light.

    Ok, I’ve gushed enough…

i’m a photographer in ogden, ut. Like to consider myself a scrapper as well, though the photography has nudged out any extra mins in my day that might have previously been used scrapping. You’re in my “google reader” so I catch up on your blog every so often. :)
