More Twins

I promised to share some more images from my session with Ryan and Evan…and here they are! I still can’t get over how cute and tiny these two are.

Here they are all wrapped up and cozy.

Twin #1 (the bigger one…I knew I was going to forget who was who!)

I love this one….the boys’ room is a jungle theme, and they each had their own special stuffy (a lion and an elephant). It will be neat to see as they grow…right now the animals are almost as big as them! :)

I love their arms here :)

I love all the preemie fuzz on his back…so adorable!

This was a tricky shot…good thing we had lots of sets of hands to help us get them all set up. One very proud papa.

Ryan & Evan

My very first twins! These darling little boys were born 5 weeks early, and after less than 3 weeks in the hospital, were able to go home. They’re so so very tiny! When these pictures were taken, they were both under six pounds, almost a pound up from their birth weights. If I remember correctly that is. I know one of the boys is bigger than the other, but as I told their mom and dad, I knew I was going to forget who’s who!

Just wanted to give a quick sneak peek so I thought I’d share my favorite image so far. I know Danielle and Matt are looking forward to seeing these. More images coming soon.

Aren’t they positively adorable?? I tell you, they gave me some serious baby fever. :)

Carmen

Carmen is one of those people who is simply beautiful on both the inside and the outside. You may recognize her from some of their family pictures I have on my website.

I always enjoy spending time with her. Not only is she a sister to a dear friend of mine, she’s also a fabulous photographer…so we always have lots of talking to do! (My apologies to her husband John for the rather *ahem* varied topics we covered during this session!). It’s always a neat opportunity to work with another photographer who knows what looks good from my end of the lens. Combine that with her modeling experience when she was a teenager, and you’ve got a dynamite session with someone who knows her way around both ends of the camera.

Thanks so much Carmen, it was great to see you and your family again! Sending you warm wishes for a smooth last few weeks of your pregnancy. I can’t wait to meet your new little bundle of joy. :)

PS A big thank you to everyone who popped in on my previous post and said hi! It was so nice to ‘meet’ you all!

Here’s a few of my faves from the session…doesn’t she look amazing?:

A little more playing with texture:

And a bunch of black and whites, as I know Carmen is a huge fan of B&W photography, and I think these images lend themselves perfectly to a nice crisp B&W:

Not only are they totally in love, aren’t they a gorgeous couple?

And here’s the big brother and big sister who can’t wait to meet the baby:

Don’t be shy…

C’mon in and say hi! I see lots of hits coming through this blog, and curiosity is getting the better of me. I’d love to hear from you…and I have to admit I’m dying to know who’s from Kalamazoo, Michigan. I get a little kick out of it everytime I see that location pop up in my stats. :)

So, you can either leave a comment here, or there’s a little poll on the right hand side of the blog that’s just point and click and you can add your name/location there if you’d like.

Thanks, I’m looking forward to hearing from you all.
